California has been making historic steps towards the ultimate goal of legalization. For all of you who haven't heard yet, there has been a petition in California to get legalization put on the November 2010 ballot. About 433,000 signatures were needed, today 700,000 signatures are being submitted, pretty much guaranteeing that you will be seeing Tax and Legalize of Cannabis on the ballot.

Who knows what this vote could trigger. Perhaps a lawsuit between the State and Feds? Can the Controlled Substance Act be overturned, triggering nationwide legalization? We can only wonder.

The Union - The Business Behind Getting High
I saw this video a few months ago, and I have to say, its probably the best documentary i've seen on the subject of marijuana, ever. If this video was ever shown as an ABC special, I think America would be very quick to legalize. So watch it, show you friends, family, whoever... It's a great video.

Hello, my name is Dan. I created this website because I believe cannabis/marijuana/weed (whatever you'd like to call it) should be legalized, and it should be legalized NOW. I plan to bring you the most up to date information about legislation and movement to legalize this great plant, so you all can see how close we are to enjoying legal marijuana. I also would like to bring you updates on how close sick patients are to being allowed to treat their pain, glaucoma, depression, nausea, etc. with cannabis.
